I slept at 11.30pm but I woke up at 3.30am. I hope the decision that I've made to stay up will not be one that I will be regretting twelve hours later.

Went for Tron Legacy the other night (the night it came out) with the mates. I can't quite recall how it was but I remembered my brother used to play Kingdom Hearts on the PS2, and this appeared in the game.

But overall, it's a really great film. Revolved mostly around special effects, it made me feel like I'm watching a 2-hour cutscene from a game.

I tell you though, Olivia Wilde is unbelievably, scorching, smoking HOT!

The story about Alviss Kong; the comments and reactions from all of the readers, witnesses and strangers alike have taught me an extremely important lesson. A moral lesson to learn. Initially, I was pretty oblivious about this incident, I had little knowings about the details and what happened. Until the day I read this article from this website.

The author's got a pretty solid feedback right there. Not many could step up to one's 'heroic' actions involving suicide.

There are, of course, times when we are really down and broken in the name of love. But will it be necessary enough to take your own life while telling the world about it? Giving yourself a 45 minutes countdown to your own death? This will not earn you publicity in the current and in the next life. Had the children of the next generation emulate the actions of Alviss Kong, surely the Internet would be highly considered to be banned in our country; had it not already now being considered that Facebook should be.

The real victim of this case was actually his ex-girlfriend. Truth be told, I have no idea what is on Alviss' mind when he decided to go for the leap.

Suffice to say, nothing will be achieved through suicide.

My principle when it comes to this is; When you love someone so dearly much, is it not true that all you ever wanted is the best for them? Even if you were not the one who would hold their hands and walk through the storms together. Love is; without a question, unconditional and based on certain circumstances, pretty one-sided. Life has always been a gamble. Who is there to be blamed if things does not go right?

" You know its pretty funny how people say that games are anti-social as i see it i talk to more people in 1 hour of playing an online game than i do in a whole week. And in fact the people that i do talk to in a week would mostly be the same people therefore playing an online game is more social as you not only talk to lots of people but people of different nationalities.

Now i'm not saying you should substitute games for real life but for some of us gamers have you ever thought that you can talk really well and easily on the internet:[games, msn] but when it comes to real life we're not as talkative? Perhaps its because there is no fear in saying things cos the people we are talking to do not actually know the real us. Imagine going up to a stranger in real life n saying watsup, we just wouldn't do it but online we can.

Another thing i was thinking was that wat actually drives people to play online games at such lengths and time. Online games are one huge international competition which is only known to a particuliar community eg. Hb pro community which could be seen similiarly to your local neighbourhood or a club. Now everyone wants to be the best and therefore spends time on finding items, killing people and constantly changing their stats in order to find that extra edge. And after a few months of playing eventhough people might not enjoy playing anymore they continue to in order to become that number one and even after they have become number one they need to keep there spot and arn't going to leave the server that they have spent so much time on.
BUT
What actually makes people start playing online games. Too much free time, peer pressure from friends, not having any other interests/hobbies, the desire to achieve something that they cant in real life or even as just a time passer. But similiar to smoking the simple 1 ciggarette 1 hour becomes 3 ciggarettes 3 hours and once we start playing for weeks on end we start relying on it to fill up all our time. But how much is too much? I personally dont see the harm in coming bak from work and playing the rest of the day but then i thought what am i actually doing for so many hours...just staring at a screen and pressing some buttons once in a while. Theres got to be more to it, and i found out that playing games are equal to a dose of speed/cocaine, thats why i nvr really feel tired waking up early to play or staying up late to play.

Anyways i will probably game the rest of my life till i die n i jus wrote dis cos i'm bored at class...

Now yes, I've realized how many readers I've lost since I stopped blogging for a while this year. I've taken too many stops and breaks here and there, thus now I am trying to regain my popularity by writing as often as I can while filling it up with my works in photography. Compared to last year's 149 posts, 2008's 93... this year is a complete mess and failure. =S

Last week, myself, Hoe and Jin Fan walked to the top of the Tanjung Lumpur bridge at 10PM to capture the night lights of Kuantan.

I know, that's not the best place to take a picture of Kuantan anyway because you only get to see a small portion of this town. But I suppose it's not that bad, given the fact that it's pretty late already to go anywhere bizarre.

It is also one of my first time taking night shots using a tripod. Took me about two minutes to complete every shot though, one of the few reasons why Sony cameras suck in processing high-shutter-speed taken photos.

Note: All these photos below are UNEDITED. The colors that vary in every photo are based on the settings I changed in my camera. Apart from the frame and my name applied in it, nothing else is changed.

A change of topic; tomorrow will be my Kuantan League debut for me.

Personally, I do not aim for victory... but a result that's a fair to my expectations and my team's needs.

About a month ago, I was brought to visit a religious cave near Panching. It's a pretty well known cave known as Gua Charas; or Gua Panching, more recently. Sadly however, I've never been there in my entire life, despite how close it was from where I live.

We had to walk countless steps and stairs in order to reach the top. To be honest, I was tired by the time we were done with the first flight, my thighs were already burning.

Along with the fact that I am extremely acrophobic... Eeek.

Okay, so here comes the fun part.

I am known for my atheism. But I have different perspective when it comes to religions and superstitions and etcetera. I hardly worship any God in that matter but I do believe in forces of Light; forces of Justice and Evil, or karma. With that being said, I may not worship any Gods but nor do I discriminate your own belief and your doings. Just don't get me involved that much with it.

I believe in the existence of Heaven and Hell.

I believe in the cycles of life and death; when you die, you get to reborn.

I believe in karma, very.

I believe in certain forces of the Light, for they have shown me guidance throughout all these years and granted me strength in times of dire need. In return, I promise them to discipline my morality values in several methods. One of few is when I turn vegetarian in certain days of the week, or little things like drinking no other liquid but only plain water for two months or so. I suppose this is some sort of a way to appreciate their ways but showing you care for your own health.

But I fail miserably when it comes to sleeping in early. I find sleeping is extremely unproductive. ~~But Facebook/Twitter is not.~~

But I like history about religious stuffs. For an instance, like Angels & Demons. The film, I meant.

But anyways, the cave is an extremely beautiful place. I never thought I'd lived to see such a magnificent place, made by the hands of nature; an art by the Earth itself.

They have plenty of statues all over the cavern, with the walls of the cavern being vandalized by visitors. What, you guys think this sacred cavern is place for you to practice on your graffiti?

But what a shame though, I left my DSLR at home that day. So I had to snap these photos with my phone. :|

On the night of 22nd September, me and my friends head off to Teluk Chempedak to commemorate the religious Mid-Autumn festival. It involves plenty of tanglung, fire, candles, a full moon and more candles. I wouldn't lie to you, the scene of everyone gathering together; families and friends, circling around their hand-made sand castles (some are just random blocks and holes however) while enlightening them with candles.

I haven't been to the beach merely for this occasion. Apart from the fact that it's been raining on this day every year for the past 6 years, the traffic jam kept me away from the shoreline.

I suppose it's because of my lately endeavor, the time that I've spent with my DSLR once again has made me into become a much more curious person.

What does it look like when the beaches glow with candles and voices of children silences the crashing waves and breaking thunders?

Fortunately, the night before, we bought ourselves three... tanglungs. I've no idea what you call it but when you light them and it goes airborne; it signals good luck.

The ones who sold us these said that the first one always fail to go airborne and urged us to purchase several more.

I was skeptical.... but I suppose they were right. Inexperienced hands caused it right? NOT LUCK!

Although I didn't made any of my wishes on them, I suppose my friends' would suffice.... NOT.

They are unbelievable. (-____-)

I had a great time there. Making new friends and meeting old ones.

I was once again reminded about the magnificence in photography as I took my DSLR around my hometown lately. The beauty of photography is like the way you look at the person that you love most. When they are within the crowd, everything else that you see is but a blur except that one person.

Same goes to photography. Despite how ghastly the scene can be, there's always a beauty behind the wall our eye has been limited to. You can always see it, be it with your eyes or your imagination.

If there's anything that's been troubling you, seek for strength in your strongest side. Love, for an instance.

When everything goes wrong, love has all that it takes to brighten things up. Affection is righteous and spontaneous, just like how it started for you. It may serve as a measure of last resort but it's the strongest side in all of us, in everything that we do.

Should love not do your bidding, then you've gone to the wrong path.

Well, it all began when I slept 3.30am the last night and had to wake up 7.30am in the morning to re-check all of the stuffs I've packed and to gear up for the arduous journey. I had to check that my shoes and other required futsal stuffs are in the bag for like 6 times to make sure that I do not miss them. That will be my lifeline wtf.

We gathered up at Restaurant Seng Kong at 9am sharp. We had a simple breakfast with their famous noodle, each for everyone. Quite honestly, I couldn't taste the difference between ordinary noodles and theirs. Perhaps my taste buds suck. The best part is that I couldn't finish my own bowl while the rest purged the every last string of them off their bowl.

After the coaches questioned me about my appetite and eating behavior, I braced my sorry little buttock and got into the car. And the worst part is just about to begin. Apart from the fact alone that I, extremely despise travels by car, the seat's pretty tough and THE AIR CONDITIONER DOESN'T WORK! The air, during the entire journey was foul and stagnant. It was so humid, sometimes it's deafening when I take a deep breath. Fortunately enough, Alex Soo; the coach who was one of the two drivers pulled off the road occasionally for a ... quick shot of urine on Mother Nature. It was a moment of Heaven, I got outside after having my legs frozen in state for several hours, stretched every inch of my body... before the torment resumes.

We got ourselves a quick lunch at Mersing, if my memory recalls. It was supposed to be one grand lunch but our coaches had no idea that the restaurant did not open until.. well, until we arrived. So, it was chicken rice for everyone. (-_____-)

After filling our bellies, we were taken to a local Hainanese Temple to pray for a safe trip and luck in our endeavors the next day. I was never a very religious person myself and this was a fairly "holy" thing to do after all sins I've committed in the past.

The stairwell that we had to take to reach this place was ridiculously high. By the time I reached the top, my thighs were already screaming in agony. Lactic acid starts pumping all over my legs.

And the journey continues.

It took a lifetime (well atleast for me) to reach Johor Bahru. As we entered the outskirts of the town, I was amazed by the sheer size of the Jusco shopping mall. We were told that it's the largest Jusco in the whole of South-East Asia. Trust me, it's HUMONGOUS. Apart from the size alone, I saw something rather interesting written on the walls of the building.

"INDOOR WATERPARK!"

My oh my. If I wasn't there to participate in a futsal comp, I'd spent the whole week in there. Hahahaha.

Anyways, as we were taken to our hotel by our guide; who, is the organizer of the tournament. Though I wasn't expecting any high-class five star hotel, this one's pretty decent.

The hotel served as a place of tranquil for all of us, a place to ease our minds and rest up for a bit. At first I thought we were supposed to live in a room for two but seems like there was a change of plan, the five of us were sharing one single VIP room with sufficient beds for everyone but ONE bathroom. I picked my bed that's the on the edge of the room, I felt safe like that :)

Everything seems to be in order until I saw the amount of debris and dusts all over the edge of my bed. LOOKS LIKE NO ONE'S BEEN ON THIS BED FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG!

While I unpack the stuffs in my bag, most of them had a brief shower before deciding to head over to Jusco. It's just about 15 minutes walk from our hotel.

What I noticed is that the neighborhood seems to a dead community. Nearly every shop and stall you see is closed and there's piles of rubbishes here and there. Most of them were comprised of vehicle workshops and you can still see used car parts hanging on the ceilings... It was.. ghastly.

Now the fun part begins. What stands between US and JUSCO is two major highway leading in and out of Johor Bahru. There are no overhead bridges present in two kilometers in sight and no traffic lights. Of all my experiences with crossing roads and being THIS close to vehicles speeding up to 120km/h only several feet away from me, this is the scariest one of all. Every minute you'll see 8-wheelers speeding past your very tip of nose at 100km/h. You can feel the wind gushing right at you moments after they sailed past you.

Though we made past one of the roads but we find ourselves being cut off at the middle.

We've waited for 25 minutes for the amount of cars passing to ease but to no avail.

Finally, we gave up.

So we find ourselves NOTHING to do.

Some went back to the hotel for a brief nap, some went for a walk.

With everyone busy with their doings, I find SooJunHoe sitting on the stone bench just outside the hotel. Inspired by his inspirational act, I head back inside the hotel, sat on the couch in the lobby and dropped my head on the table. It's so quiet, chilly and serene. I nearly fell asleep until our coaches returned from visiting the futsal court.

We were then requested to gear up for a training session.

The court's pretty awesome. The mat isn't like what they have in Kuantan. I've no idea how to explain it in detail but I know for sure that this is the official type of mat they have for futsal, in FIFA.

After the session ends, we topped it off with some free kick and penalty shootout trainings. I think that this one helped us tonnes. Hadn't we be prepared in these spotkicks, I suppose taking that penalty shootout in the semi's will be difficult without the confidence.

That night, we were all exhausted by the lengthy trip and the sessions that nearly wore us down for the tournament the next morning. But the dinner that was prepared for us was simply outrageous. It's been a while since I had such great food ;P

After filling our bellies, we were taken back to our hotel for our well-rewarded rest.

It was about 11PM plus that time and they're still watching TV... So I decided to make a phone call that's about 400km away back to Kuantan. :)

Nonetheless, I tucked my ears with my pillow and had my towel blanketed over my eyes because of the bright lights. I fell asleep merely minutes later. And then my brother called me on my phone about 1am to ask me about the password of my PC that I did not set... (-_-)

Fortunately I was able to sleep back without much of a restrain but damn it's frickin cold. Also, I have a habit of waking up naturally when I set the alarm clock on my phone. It's like I'm setting a biological alarm clock inside of me when I do so. Again, I was the first one to wake up. The first thing I did was to reply a text... halfway doing that, coach came over to wake me up and I STAGGERED when he touched me WTF. SUDDENLY GOT A SHADOW CREPT PAST THE CORNER OF MY EYE AND TOUCH ME!

Anyways, I got up, showered and did all the necessities a guy should do before heading out to battle.

Early in the morning, we were ~~bombarded~~ treated with dozens and dozens of dim sums and arguably the best porridge I have ever had in my life so far. IT'S SUPERBBBBBBBBBB! But I've made the wrong choice of my diet that morning. I ATE TOO MUCH WTF. By the time we leave the restaurant, I felt a firm 3kg heavier. You couldn't imagine how many plates of dim sums I've ate. Oh nuuu.

Fortunately, the first game I featured in, I did not play a full 10 minutes. I was extremely nervous initially and pretty much screwed up my game play. I was substituted a few minutes later, though I understand why.

I played throughout the group stages, gaining confidence by each game but still as nervous. We won the first game but drew the second. Fortunately enough, we were in the top of our group with mere two points but we scored more goals.

As we qualify ourselves to the quarter finals, I find myself making a grave mistake. I consciously knew why but it's one of the few things that I simply cannot atone myself. I was subbed out once again but I thanked God and my arduous teammates for bringing the scoreline back to a 1-1 and winning the game with a comfortable finishing by Tai Yang minutes before the game ends.

In the semi's, we found ourselves a worthy opponent. We put up a pretty decent fight but the game ended with a tie. So, a penalty shootout was required.

Undoubtedly, our goalie Ah Hong was the man of the match. Out of three attempts, he saved two while we scored all of our three attempts cleanly... taking us to the finals. The moment when Tai Yang scored the last penalty was priceless. Everyone was jumping up and down, screaming their lungs out.

You can hear the sheer pressure mounted on the team as they prepare themselves mentally to face last year's second runner up.

It's a shame though cause all of the participants has left the court already. We were left with so little audience. :|

This is my first time being in the finals, in such a prestige tournament. So it is both an honor and a privilege to be in it as much as I must thank my teammates for playing so hard to reach such a stage.

I do not mean to brag nor boast here but during the finals, I see that my mates play with less stress and pressure mounted on their shoulders because when we first came, our goals are not to take the champion but only the experience we carved from all these tournaments. Even if we fail to win that game, getting a second runner up wouldn't be so bad... but of course, it would be best if we take the champ.

Our lone striker played superbly in the finals, scoring twice in the occasion. The second goal was the most brilliant one. Flicking the ball as it came straight from a free kick and into the back of the net.

When the final whistle adheres, we were the champs of the tournament; champs of the Hainan Youth Futsal Competition.

As we prepare ourselves for a hasty leave for lunch... this is the last photo we took.

After our lunch, we depart with a pair of misty eyes and one hell of a memory to take back with us.

During our another-five-hours journey back to Kuantan, I took several photos of us in the car. Lifeless muchh. I didn't even get to sleep!

I apologize for this lengthy, getting-more-and-more-boring-as-you-scroll-down post but I'd like to say thanks to our coaches who made this trip ever so important to us, drove 800km and our teammates who played so well.

Well hello everyone. Certainly has been a while since I last spent some of my precious time on my blog.

In a better way, you could say that I've lost interest in blogging.

There's not much going on that I could put in here, (well of course there are things that I simply could not say it out loud) except for the fact that I've wasted my time watching Liverpool getting their sodding hind puddings kicked by Manchester City last night. I've waited til 3am and watched til 5am for a 0-3 (-_-)

Speaking of football, Hainan Cup's been delayed indefinitely. I sense that my mates are frustrated over this case because it's nearly exactly what befell upon us last year, training our arses off for nothing at the end. Although I(alongside Hoe) was chosen as part of perhaps the only traveling team from Kuantan to Johor Baru this Saturday to attend the Hainan futsal comp, I share their grief no less than what they are feeling now.

We often feel like we got betrayed. Being toyed into this trickery.

Now then, I've something in mind that's been troubling me for quite some time now. I just couldn't get it out of my mind simply because I knew one day I had to face it and to overcome it, I had to confront it and I know you're getting kind of annoyed of my grammars.. BUT!

Maybe a talk, a discussion or two would suffice. ;)

I've been thinking a lot last night. I couldn't sleep well cause of the flu too.

So I spent 3 hours rolling around the bed, it was awful. D:

I've been thinking about what I did last year, exactly last year. At that time, I've been training vigorously for the Hainan Cup with my mates. And that was before I got involved in that particular incident where I f'ed my right ankle D:

There were plenty of things I can do at that time... My passes and shots were unbelievably amazing, even for myself. My free kicks were simply outrageous. I sense a hint of narcissism.

Compared to this year, I couldn't even do half of what I did before. The continuous pain deriving from the inside of my ankle held me back, I couldn't do shots properly. I got so sad, I teared as I had images of it flashing in my mind.

As much as I tell myself that to dwell in the past and regretting for what you've done is a sin, I cannot help it but to call myself an idiot.

Why would I risk my life and leg to go for that ball on 090909 ?

Plenty of things have changed that night. Both physically and mentally.

I wanna go back to my physical state as I once were before. I refused to live like this. I've been playing soccer for my entire life, I don't want it to end this way.

I can only hope now, that my physiotherapist could remedy my torment. Please, I'd do anything to cure this injury.

Hopefully after the Hainan Cup, I shall take a break from sports and soccer for a while.

BUT! At the moment, I had to sacrifice my ankle and train for it. The pain has held me back from my free kicks and long range shots... I guess I had to suck it up and do my best.

And for the record, we're just about to sign up for the annual Hainan Cup which is on the 1st of August.

Heh, I'm not paying any attention at all to what he said.

I've played once before in the cup last year, if you readers still remembers... I have it written in this post.

At that time, we were like a bunch of mercenaries hired by Alur Akar Seafood FC. Only to realize that we were to be replaced by several other senior players, there were a few of us that got kicked out of the team because of it. There's no telling how pissed we were, and especially Soo Jun Hoe, who sat on the bench throughout the entire match.

No more Uncle Phua as our coach, that's it.

Last year we've had a discussion before, that we would make a team of our own. Without anyone to manage the team but the captain.

This was the goal that gave After7 FC the lead.

At first, I was pretty skeptical that we were still here for the Cup last year. But I am pretty sure at that time that I am not going to play under him anymore, that will be the last of it.

So this year, we're piling up all of our mates to join the comp. Without a doubt it will tough for us, we lack the experience in field soccer and matches played in total. To make things worse, we were short of players... as of now, 3 players. Half of the team will be Orange Junior FC's while the other half are those who've been playing with us since last year, during our training sessions.

This Thursday will be the last of our futsal game (hopefully) as we try to brush it aside and focus on football instead. With 4 weeks remaining before the actually Cup begin, we hope to polish everything up. From team formations to corner kick takers.

I told them something yesterday.

"It is either we win the Cup, or we lose horribly."

Actually it is pretty true. I'm starting to realize that most of us are really talented youngers but we were underrated because of how much the public pays attention to young players, especially Chinese. But I believe that Orange Junior FC's players are going to be one of the most talked players right after the comp.

I'm pretty sure that I've seen most of the Chinese footballers in Kuantan but if there are other teams joining in from outside of Kuantan, it could pose a serious problem.

So, boys if you are reading this... let's finish where we stopped last year. The fourth place that we finished last will never satiate our hunger for the trophy. This is our last comp together before the entire team breaks apart, some for studies while some going out of town to work.

What I regret most is that my injury is limiting my actions on the field. Last year, my freekicks were one of the most unstoppable shots around, bending and dipping in all directions. Since I twisted my ankle pretty badly that time, I couldn't even kick a ball as far as 30 metres away. The weight of the ball is killing my foot.

But rest assured, I will give it all my best. Even if I might end up limping for the rest of the year :o

It's been a cliche for I have mentioned this part plenty of times every single time I release a new entry for my blog.

I AM SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOR SO LONG! I AM BEING A LAZY DIC--- A LAZY BUMP!

First of all, I would like to thank all of you. You people who stayed up so late, until the clock strikes the first hour of 20th May. I'd like to thank especially my mom who was the first to text me, the first person of everything. And of course, my beloved friends from all over the country. Thank you for your wishes and blessing!

Second of all, to Kuan, Jia Ming and Sia who've totally caught me off-guard when they invited me over to Old Town for a brief drink. Out of nowhere, Kuan came over with a sizable chocolate cake with one extra long and eight shorter candles. :)

Me: Can I get less candles? :S
Kuan: Fuck you.

That night was one of the most fabled nights I've ever had. I was in need of your presence at that time, prior to my wish... It doesn't matter in what form, for I have not heard of you all day long. Just merely seconds after I've blown the glowing embers off all the 9 candles, you came knocking on my phone's text message. I was baffled by how quick my wish got replied. Was it because the skies on that night was so clear, you could literally see the trickling stars' reflections on anything reflective?

Forgive me, I made that sky part up. But seriously, it is very clear. =o

But the night that took most of my breath away was the night of the Animal Gang. :)

It WAS supposed to be a simple dinner with everyone of them. You see, I am a pretty straight guy in general... sooooooooo. :x

When I arrived at LemonGrass with Wong, Shu asked us to meet up at the Watson's. I missed that first sign. So we went in together and waited for Reed and MC. They haven't arrived yet and were late for over half an hour. That's my second sign. hahaha. When Reed finally came over, Shu took me outside and blind-folded me. While guiding me from the Watson's to LemonGrass, which is just about 20 metres away.. was the most epic part of the whole night. I was afraid that I might *cough* trip myself over so I took baby-like steps while Shu was beside me the whole time, screaming me to walk BIGGER steps!

Alas, I've reached the front door without tripping or getting myself injured in any way. *takes deep breath*

As they had my ass on the chair, my sight was free to prowl around once again. The next few seconds took my eyes beyond what it could normally handle and the my mind was spamming the word "FUBAR" in every possible directions.

MC was sitting beside Reed, on my two o'clock. A laptop, an Adidas Jabulani mini ball, a bestfriend's coupon card, and a bookmarker, with the shape of a giraffe with cow spots. Then, while I am still processing all the things that's showering my brain, Kenny came out of a room and shoved my sight with half a dozen of BigApple's donuts in a box.

You see, I am a pretty emotional person in general. I tear easily in most films when they play a sad song or a sad theme when something... well, sad happens. hahahaha.

Soooooooooooooooo, let's leave it at there! :D

It was only about a fortnight ago, when I said I would blog about Jocelyn's sweet sixteen party over at the Tembeling Resort but of course, eventually I did not have the .. strength to get my lazy butt in front of this PC and start writing again. Alright, the truth is that I am extremely lazy to update my blog. Unless I am inspired by my own photography, then I would most likely procrastinate until I am totally lifeless.

I was pretty sure already that night I'm going to be late. Everyone are due to be there by 7pm and I arrived 35 minutes after. Hah. Though the birthday girl was no where in sight.

But fret not, eventually Jocelyn came after a full 46 minutes after the 7pm mark.

Suffice to say, I was surprised to find Ricky here; alone. Hello Rickie!

Shortly after that, the food was served. The Thai cuisine was fantastic. Though honestly I say this; I did not have more than 3 spoonful of rice and other veges on my plate.

Perhaps I was nervous. Or maybe I'm just not hungry. Hua hua.

Supposedly it was the spiciest bowl of tom yam or anything of sorts, Ricky have ever eaten. I could tell it's a no joke because the moment Marcus took a sip of that volatile bowl of spice, he nearly swallowed a glass down his belly as he tries to wash away his mouth.

Then that is when all the fun began. We were captivated by Jocelyn's live performance alongside Carl and Marcus. There are several other performances by some lads as well. One of them played Taylor Swift's 'Our Song', which of course annoyed Carl.

Explosive basses and loud music then kicked in, it is time to party people.

Unfortunately not for me hahaha. I cannot stand in these conditions, my apologies =|

That illness came and went away periodically, for 2 weeks. It is really a pain in the bloody butt.

Still, I cannot fathom why is it I am always the one getting sick or being injured physically.

Since the beginning of this week, after Jocelyn's flawless party over at the Tembeling Resort, I've been plagued by different illnesses. I thanked God that none of them were serious cases.

The extend of this torment is seriously unbelievable. That night I came back with a pretty sick, I can feel my forehead and body radiating so much heat, I think the sofa would melt had I lied down there for 30 seconds. The next day I was plagued with severe headaches and aching all over my body, especially my neck. The pain was extremely immense.

Have you ever had someone smashed your head with a wooden club? No?

Well neither did I, but the pain was sort of like that.

You can feel the pulses on the side of your heads. You cannot eat, you cannot sleep, you cannot concentrate on what you're doing. Simply standing up is a major effort already.

So here I am now, after failing to fall asleep since 1.30am to 6.15am. I finally gave up and went downstairs and grabbed my medicines.

If only I was Atropos, the Bane Elemental. I'll put myself to sleep anytime I want.

It's been a bout 3 months now since I was asked to play as the lone defensive player in the team, a pretty cozy position to play on if you ask me but there are times when my abilities are really tested.

Since I injured my ankle badly last time, I cannot turn as fast as I can as last time already.

I used to be deployed on the left wing to provide additional support for the offensive players while running up and down the flanks retrieving lose balls. I'd love to cut in to the middle and nail several shots like how Ryan Babel played or Arjen Robben.

It is tough being a lone defender, I'll require a lot of teamwork and hardworking efforts from the players.

Sigh, I wanna play back as a left winger...

Played a match of football yesterday at SABS. Since we are foreign students using their field, we were requested to write down our names & IC number on a piece of paper and pass it to the warden as we do not have the proper access to use their field.

It's Saturday lar, come on -_-

While waiting for the rest to come, we sat by the bench, under a shady tree. Then my ears caught a rather familiar sound, one that brings joy and the sense of relief for every student and ex alike. It was the school bell.

Surely it has been a while... the clashing of the bell can be heard across the field and beyond, echoing in every direction. I was then taken back in time.

Leaves began flapping against each other as the evening breeze and scorching Sun seared the dry, empty field ahead of us. Microscopic dusts of the ground can be seen as it got blown by the warm wind, sometimes sending a few stinging your eyes.

I was left breathless at that moment. What must I do to be taken back to such circumstance again? More images flashed as the boys began playing football. Ah.

After reading how Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey broke his leg after a horrendous tackle from Shawcross... I am really reconsidering about this surgery I am having.

It is said that you will have to rebuild your leg/ankle's muscles after an intensive surgery. For me, that is a major issue. I fear that I do not possess the same leg strength that I used to have after the surgery, let alone the mobility of my ankle after the operation. I have spent many years building my leg's muscle, I cannot afford to lose them all at once and re-train myself.

Also, I've also sensed that some people are having their doubts over my scheduled surgery in March. Well I tell you this. If you do not believe in me that is your problem, you don't have to turn the table around and make fun of it. If you're a badminton player and you had to undergo a foot surgery... would that sound amusing to you? If you're a squash player, are you willing to spend 6-9 months out of the court to operate your shoulder?

I have my own passion in life, something that I would held on to dearly even if I might get hurt in doing so.

Which is why I am doubting about undergoing that potong-potong-kaki-aku thing next month.

Now I wish only to consult my surgeon about my ankle. Perhaps there is no need for me to have a surgical scar on my right foot. I can still jog, I can still swim, I can still play football but of course yes, it hurts. And at this state, my ankle is f'ing fragile. If I were to suffer another horrendous tackle on my right foot, I guarantee it will break into two pieces. It is that fragile.

Right now, I don't really care much if you address me as a liar; if I did not undergo the surgery.

You were not there when I was on the pitch. You did not see the extend of the tackle. You are not the one receiving bad tackles from ignorant players all the time on the pitch and left without saying sorry, which would be the least thing you can do after nearly stopping my from playing again.

You were not the one, lying on the artificial turf of the pitch, screaming in agony as you try to control your breathing and movement so that you will not make it any worst than it is. When you can hardly lift your right leg, streams of images starts to pass through your mind. Giving you the instances of how you would never being able to play again. How every single thing you did came to a cease.

All I can ever ask for right now is for me to meet my surgeon and talk about the things that are going to be unfold... and how am I going to alter the consequences without needing to cut my leg.

There has been quite a number of spam and random advertising comments/links left in my blog posts lately.

That pisses me off.

So did MSN. Occasionally I'd receive an anonymous contact that I know not of and obviously it is an account to spread viruses around made by hackers. If I ever did send one, please do not click it. That applies to anyone else, make sure that the person who sent you the link is conscious of the message sent.

But that is not the whole point of this post.

Now that Chinese New Year is just waiting to be erupted by the thundering echoes in the skies of fireworks, firecrackers and laughters of joy & prosperity, I would like to grab this near opportunity to thank all of my friends who has been there all this while with me. Through times of grief and times of happiness; inevitable events that have been drawing us into this stage of which we call it growing up.

I may not have been the best companion or being the best person out there to assert the best advices you needed but I suppose whatever is perfect in life, is just a matter of how you look at it. I look at the Life around me as shape-able as much as I believe in fates & destinies only ties themselves to those who are willing to step up.

This solitary trait that I have been cursed upon is widely known. Know that I do not ignore nor forget the memories that's worth more than a decade now. Though I do not express myself much but I appreciate the comforting and self-assuring presence from all of you; truly, I am.

In times of dire need for self-assuring, I often neglect outside influence to reassure my thoughts. But now I realize that I have a great bunch of friends around me, even if you don't accept me as one of them.

So as to end this post, I would like to wish each and everyone of you; my friends, even if you are not reading:

To ease concerns to a certain people among the ones I know, the ankle surgery that was initially scheduled on next Monday was officially postponed. The reasons are obvious; Chinese New Year draws near and I will NOT spend it on crutches as I abhors it more than anything else in this world.

Now that my primal concern is out of the way... who's up for a futsal game?!

The days of searing heat are beginning to set in. Times when me and my friends would jog every day in Taman Gelora can no longer be a routine anymore in 2010. As much as I like kicking long range balls across the field, even if I could do it.. the pain would be tremendous.

It felt like the bones in my ankle were shattered, all clanking upon each other.

Oh my inspiration, strike me with your empowering touch.

I have just received a phone call from the general hospital 3 days ago, on Monday. I was contacted several times a few days before but I didn't picked up the call cause ... well, they called me at nine in the morning. What do you expect? :D

Anyways, it was also my mom who answered the phone call, not me. I tell you, no phone call can wake me up from my sleep. I'd silence it every single time even if I have switch off the phone. Gwahhaa.

*clears throat*

The nurses informed me my mom that the faithful day when I would be put to sleep on a bed, with doctors incising my right ankle will be on next Monday. You cannot escape from the inevitable feeling that hits the bottom of your spine. Sure, I am ready for the operation but that soon?... Maybe not. I am not mentally prepared. I STILL HAVE THINGS TO DO IN LIFE!!!!

To make this whole ordeal even worser, they said that I would be required to stay overnight within the hospital, in the ward, shared by half a dozen other patients for 3 fucking nights. If I could not talk to them and postpone my surgery, I would have to be admitted into the wards early morning on Friday and stay in there until Monday.

*shows wtf-face-with-both-hands-gripping-on-the-head*

Haihs. I still don't know what is best for me right now.

I willingly accept any criticisms circling about the reckless lunge that I got myself into 5 months ago. Though the blame for this cause isn't all on me, I'd accept it anyway because I understand the nature in myself. I always push myself beyond the limit no matter what endeavor I have gotten myself involved into.

You may say anything you want about it but please do not criticize about my interest in sports or futsal because I have dedicated most of my life running around the field, making deliberate tackles for my team and made some really great friends I thought I would never lived to meet them.

No one likes to be hurt and that goes to the same as I. My peerless passion into this is like a pain-killer to all of my demise.

I am fully conscious of my current state, you don't have to criticize me so that I would eventually leave what I am doing.

Right then, time to update about the past.

Several weeks ago, Chun drove us to Sg. Lembing for a breakfast and a short stroll in that pre-historic mining town.

It was great to return to the place where my mom was once lived here during her childhood days and mine as well. Nostalgic... you may address that feeling as.

All those bean curd, tofu and others only costed me RM3.20. Gila gila. Milo ping only RM1.

All the world's a stage and those coconut trees are our audiences.

All in all, it's a great experience to return to Sg. Lembing again. It felt like we were driving our way back in time, restoring those long lost memories of our ancestors who once lived within these streets as poor laborers in the mining quarry.

Special thanks to Wong Kong Chun and may God bless on your quick recovery. If memory serves, he'd just sprained his right ankle at Teluk Chempedak after tripping himself.

Lastly, the party at Natasha's place, to celebrate her 17th birthday!

The food was utterly fantastic. I don't have to say which of them tastes the better because they're all absolutely great. The tomato served with some berries are the only thing that draws me me back from giving a double thumbs up though. I think I've just chewed on a particularly weird blue berry... or was it not..

Just kidding, they're great.

After all the feasting was done, I sat down with the others to chill my tummy a moment while listening to a brilliant keyboardist singing. As he cues the last note of the night, I think it was Danesh who starts cheering my name out loud......and so goes the other few.

"JASON! JASON! JASON! JASON! JASON!"

Whoa wait, this is not my birthday party! I'm not supposed to be the one to sing -_-!

My resistance proved futile against the overwhelming chant of my name. This is the first time I did 'I'm Yours' a capella style, so I reckon it would not sound good... I hope it did.

Oh nu! I've just realized I did not take any photo with the birthday girl :o

The clock ticks closer to midnight. The moon rises higher up above our heads and so did the music. The sheer bass knocks your heart right out the socket and perhaps that could've triggered the ladies go wild. I reckon if there's a few more ladies joining them, we could've made a video featuring some hot Korean artists if you'd like, or Lady Gaga.

Note: My surgery on the 2nd of February 2010 has been postponed due to the nurses' error. They transported me into a ward for my surgery, which, have not yet available in the hospital. They will consult my surgeon about my future plans about the surgery. So meanwhile, I am free for now.

But I will still need to see my surgeon again to re-diagnose my ankle. I don't wanna regret this.

Spent my afternoon at the General Hospital today. My appointment with the anaesthetist was at 2pm, but I overslept and ended up arriving at 2.25pm.

Upon arriving, it doesn't seem to be as packed as the last time I came before. Probably because not everyone wants to have their body parts be operated (-_-)

As my name was called, I stepped into the "PAIN ROOM" as they've written on the door. The doctor then checked my pulse, heartbeat, blood pressure and medication allergies. After all the preemptive actions, I was fit enough to pass the test I guess... though my pulse is slightly above average due to my anxiety, just being inside the room.

When it all comes down to the talking part, about the risks of doing the surgery and the side-effects of anaesthetics... it's pretty scary actually. There are two choices of being tranquilized for the surgery.

The first one only involves the lower part of your body, it will totally numb your legs and other parts. You will have full conscious of your upper body and self breathing. without the assistance of any machines.

The second one will totally put you to a deep sleep but with pretty heavy consequences. Some people may experience difficulty in breathing while you're sleeping because they're going to insert a tube into your throat, filling your lungs with oxygen so that you can breathe. A major downside to this is that there's a small possibility that you might choke or suffocate yourself unconsciously from the tube. Since you cannot breathe yourself, that is something dangerous.

If I wake up the next morning after the surgery, I will experience several discomforts in my body including;

Nausea.
Vomiting.
Headache.
Breathing difficulty.
Reduced ability to speak.
Sore throat.

and plenty more.

And in rare cases, if I am allergic to the anaesthetic that they gave me... bad things will happen. Hell, I didn't even know ankle surgeries would require a heart monitor and other expensive machineries to support my lifeline.

Scary? Yes it is.

Sigh.

Liverpool's performance lately is seriously way below par. With so many players injured and complains arising from the bench players is tipping Rafa's position over. Out of the FA Cup and Champions League so early in the stage, if Liverpool did not qualify for the top four of the Premier League this year, I doubt I will still be supporting them.

I hope that the arrival of Maxi Rodriguez will carry Liverpool back to whom they were once, strong.

During the past few days, I took a stroll around shopping malls and grocery stalls. Little have I realized that Chinese New Year looms just around the corner. Chinese New Year songs started to play on the speakers and wherever I go, there's bound to have red decorations and ornaments for sale with Chinese inscriptions written on it.

Of all the fears, #6 stands out to be the most often one to happen in my nightmares. Hmm.

On January the 8th 2010, it was one of the best nights or "yum cha"s of my life. Originally before planning for a drink at Just Relax, we started our day at Complete Fitness Centre, which now has raised its entry fee from RM7 to RM10. Cheesepie. After a long hot day at the gym, we went to a cendol/ABC stall nearby and washed away all the fatigues with a cold serving :D

Not recommended for a healthy lifestyle though.

Night falls. Just like Kiang always planned to do so, he took us to Teluk Chempedak for dinner. All of us ordered Chicken Chop, in exception of Wong who ordered the Ocean Fillet thing. Once again, the meal is simply amazing... for a price of RM9. I wonder why people would go for expensive dinner places to order a Chicken Chop :P

Kiang, Wong, Kong Chun, Yan, Lee and myself took a short stroll along the beaches as the Malaysian-made cars began thumping their bass up. It is a sad sight to see, knowing all the good audio came out of a Kancil's butt. I was hoping to see something exotic and all I see is... that.

We couldn't invite Kuan to join us along at first but after a long debate and bribery, he finally agreed to our terms. One of them includes fetching him there and back. (-____-)

We sat the furthermost table. 6 of us then ordered a 4 bottles of Tiger Beer. Halfway sipping down the bottle, I noticed Wong's immense red-ish face. It is as if there were magma underneath his skin trying to burst its way out of his head. And it is only half a bottle! Imagine if we're having a big party and alcohols were everywhere...

'twas a fantastic night. Kuan makes his presence aloud with his sarcasm and body-flinching jokes about Wong and other cynical stuffs. I laughed so much, so loudly until I've totally forgotten everything else in the world. I forgot that clock ticks, I forgot about my regrets. And I all had in mind was thinking about what great friends I had.

Times like these are best be cherished to the very last piece and bits of it as it does not come along very often. Or maybe it is just I who haven't experience such memorably outings before, as often.

Still, and as always, it intrigues me. That the fact of us being all grown-ups already. It felt like it was several weeks ago we were kids playing soccer in the compound of my house, the prime initiator for all these friendships that ties us together... until today, and forever on if fate allows.

Fret not, although most of us (including myself) were underage from consuming alcohol, none of us were drunk.

Things hasn't been quite right as of lately. I was so busy entertaining my stressed mind, I had to clear up thing else in my schedule. Henceforth I am now out of Yamaha Music School, with the surgeries coming... I doubt I could make any progress.

I suppose this is just another one of many obstacles Life has to throw at you and to step up, breathe and overcome is what I am going to do. Also, how unforgiving time has been... to pass me and everyone by. Realizing at last, I am about to enter a new phase of aging. A mere puppet to my own disguise, and your actions be my ditto.

Rest assured, I will always keep and retain the smile I have been giving for the last 18 years. I will not give up what I started. :d

I wonder what happened...

With utter determination, I yearn for a quick return from surgery and attend gym sessions several times a week hopefully... if futsal is such a dangerous game like all of you have witnessed. Or perhaps it wasn't the game, it was I. Perhaps I over played myself too many times, pushing to the limits.

Orange Junior FC, I will not be able to play for several months from now on. Bring up another centre back to replace my role. #21 is outtttttttt.

A long while it has certainly been. Haven't been quite the usual hardwork-blogger like I was the previous year. Hmmm, I wonder why. Has the blogosphere slowly faded? Or perhaps I couldn't find any topics to write about.

The inevitable case that struck me on the very end of 2009 surely has a massive impact on me. In 4 days, I underwent 7-8 X-RAY scans on my right and left ankle. That's a lot of exposure to radiation. At first, none of the doctors and orthopaedics can detect any defections or injuries on the bone. No fractures, no nothing.

Until the last doctor came over to take a visit, then only he found something wrong with the X-RAY scan. He applied pressure on my ankle and immediately I felt the pain. He turned around, facing half-a-dozen other doctors and said 'blablablabla SYNDROME'.

Then I realized what he was saying was, Anterior & Posterior Impingement Syndrome. Further info about this injury can be found here http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/cybertherapist/front/ankle/ankle_impingement.php .

Apparently this is very common football players and I suppose the injuries I've dealt in the past in my ankles brought this to another level. Perhaps it is time for me to tune down my hasty style of play and settle down for a while.

.. Or maybe not.

I am attending my anaesthetic test on the 21st of January and the surgery is scheduled on the 2nd of February... presumably 10 days away from Chinese New Year. I have not actually asked my surgeon how long will it take for me to walk without crutches or will I walk out of the hospital with my leg casted. Nevertheless, none of those two sounds promising enough for a quick return to futsal. Heh.

Also, they have no idea how far has my injury extended to since all they had was a scan from the X-RAY on my ankle. They reckon that they would have to insert a scope to probe around, examining any other injuries that might follow up since the massive incident. I am expecting them to find several scars on the tissues cause this is not my first time hyperflexed my ankle.

If all goes well I hope to return back to where I have came from, where I have dedicated my life and body to. Thus, this ends for now.

I also have the tendency to do odd poses whenever I'm answering a phone call. I am not conscious of this.

The year end holidays of 2009 was not as promising as I thought it would be. Full of shearing blades of the past that cuts you right through as it sails by, bringing up old memories that could none could serve as an adversary you cannot resist with physical contact. For something that does more harm than any good isn't easy to shrug off, I could only make amends for the sins of my past and pray that forgiveness is in need of its use.

I have seen and read enough from my fellow friends traveling to other continents and about their endeavors. Fret not, this is not an offensive post. I am merely being jealous :D

There are several reasons that I could think of that's been restricting me from going out on a vacation from this God-forsaken place. Part of it is that I have traveling by cars, perhaps it is the patience of sitting still for hours in the same place that's brought this up. Another one that I can think of is that my leg is still in a weak state since the clash 3 months ago. Even walking in the mall one hour plus also starting to hurt. That is also the reason I could not find a temporary job as well, I would not sacrifice the recovery time I needed for my ankle to heal just to get the extra bucks. That is a bit naive I understand but I value football more than anything that is worth its price.

The extra time I had in my life was spent in football. I turned into a vigorous, avid futsal player after PMR when I nearly went for matches every morning during that period. And that is when all the addictions began. In mid 2007 to mid 2009, I played atleast 2 games every week and up to 12 times a month!

Besides the sound of heart being torn apart from the futsal fees alone, I find myself encountering loads of injuries since. What a normal injury would take months to recover, I did not gave myself that time for it to heal. Instead, I head back and continued playing in pain. It is surprising sometimes people still see me play and ask am I not injured. Of course I am injured, it is called pain endurance. In the name of sports I sacrifice the condition of my leg.

But you know, what is worth the fight is always worth the risk.

If you would like to know what differences between your Internet line and mine, given the scenario that you are using Streamyx...

You do not disconnect 9 or more times in 60 minutes after or during midnight.
You do not disconnect when it is about 11pm to 1am every single day, at least 3 times during the hour.
You do not disconnect whenever it rains, even if it's just a mild one.
You do not disconnect whenever it gets windy outside.
You do not have difficulties to reconnect your Internet line sometimes after disconnecting.
You do not need to wait for several days sometimes, for it to reconnect itself.

That is all the scenarios that I have to face every single day. Do you think that does not piss me off? Perhaps this is one of the ways I mentally train myself to overcome such obstacles with patience and rationalism. I have a friend who came across similar situation as I am currently dealing with before, who's modem was thrown against the expensive solid marble he had in his house. I consider myself... humane.

I have questions with similar intentions flying towards me from every possible direction, wondering how could I-- an avid gamer could withstand such an abrasive anomaly. Well I tell you this, YEARS OF PRACTICE. I've been living like this since I was 13 and I reckon after 5 years of patience training, anyone could do it. I am only surprised that my modem is still so untouched, it still has the paper wrapping on it... without any damage XD

I know that I was a loyal Adidas fan during the past 10 years of my life but it has to change; I had to improvise. It is time for me to switch my football boots from Adidas Predator PowerSwerve to Nike's Mercurial Vapor. I bought it yesterday for RM199, silver + red color. It has been one of my favorite boots since it has been released but unfortunately at that time mine is still in good shape.

Also, I have just returned from HTAA just now to check on my right ankle. After 3 hours and 2 X-Ray scans, the orthopaedics found nothing wrong with the bones but there's a small bone fragment got chipped out during the time of collision on 09/09/09. They figured that since there wasn't any fractured bone, it had to be ligament or muscle tear in my ankle. So they suggested that I visit the Sports Clinic developed specially for these of types of injury in the same hospital next week, on Wednesday. I am nowhere near 90% recovery and I reckon this is going to take a long time. A LONG LONG TIME.

Now that freedom is at hand, I am thinking about how should I keep my hair. If I were to return to sports in early 2010, long hair is last thing that I would need. It distracts and pokes my eye whenever I run or turn.

I also have no intentions to change my hair color, would look rather "la-la" to me and I despise them lol.

I was thinking about getting like Squall Leonhart's hair in the Kingdom Heart's series but my hair is pretty stiff, so I don't know if it's possible or not. Also, I am caught in the middle while deciding to make a centre-split like my brother's or should I just stick to my fringes? Hmmmmmmmmmm, I just hope that I have enough time to grow and cut before I get bald and attend National Service.

Ashton had not played a first-team game for 14 months and speculation had mounted in recent weeks that the Hammers would announce that his career had been curtailed.

The striker could never fully recover from an ankle injury suffered at England training in August 2006 and West Ham may now seek compensation in the form of a £7 million insurance claim against the Football Association.

West Ham chief executive Scott Duxbury paid tribute to Ashton, who scored 19 goals in 54 games for the Hammers.

"This is a sad day and our thoughts are with Dean. I would like to place on record our thanks to him for all his efforts and wish him the very best," Duxbury said. "I would also like to thank the fans for their patience and understanding during what has been a difficult time."

Ashton was a product of the famous Crewe Alexandra youth system, which saw manager Dario Gradi bring through the likes of David Platt, Danny Murphy, Robbie Savage and Neil Lennon.

After playing more then 200 games for the Railwaymen, he became Norwich City's record signing when he joined the Canaries for £3 million in 2005. A string of impressive performances and 17 goals in 44 league appearances earned him a move to West Ham in January 2006 for £7.25 million, where he became a first-team regular.

The ankle break at England training ruled him out for the whole 2006-07 campaign and though he did return, scoring 11 goals in 35 appearances in the 2007-08 season, he broke down in new manager Gianfranco Zola's first training session in September 2008.

England boss Fabio Capello rated Ashton highly and tipped him to make a big impact on the international stage, handing him his Three Lions' debut in a friendly against Trinidad and Tobago last summer.

Zola had persistently refused to write-off Ashton but the striker was forced to admit defeat because of chronic degeneration in the ankle."

The mental anguish that one of the country’s best young prospects faces cannot be understated. It is a crushing blow to be forced to give up anything you love, but to retire from football in your mid-twenties is agonising.

Having been on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in England after showing his potential with Crewe Alexandra and Norwich City, Ashton must now battle harder than he ever has before to maintain a career outside of the game. He will need time to come to terms with his difficult decision, but using his experience of the game and the skills that were so cruelly taken away from him, he can have an impact on the next generation of superstars.

Injury occasionally robs us of players before they have shown us their best - Steve Coppell and Marco Van Basten to name but two in recent memory – but both have proved that there is life after the game. Ashton will forever be haunted by the ‘what could have been’ question, but hopefully he can bounce back and make a name for himself off the pitch.

Carlos Tevez recently stated that he was considering early retirement because of the demands of modern day football. Perhaps looking at a tragic case like Ashton’s will help him reconsider."

Despite what you've heard from rumors, footballers' legs and ankles are quite fragile actually. Especially at the ankles when you apply most force on it to kick a ball and most vulnerable to tackles. Seeing how it happened to Dean Ashton, I am quite worried about my state now... not that I haven't been before, just now this much. Many veterans said that once you have injured yourself severely in one spot, you will forever be bound with it... and I nearly broke my ankle that time.

I just don't want to be that person to regret about my past. I want to be proud of what I have done.

Guess it's best that I rot at home, growing some fungi on my head while letting time to mend. =D

Much have I sinned to my blog since my lengthy absence since early November. Now allow me to atone myself by wishing my brother a Happy 25th Birthday... which was on 20th of November.

Also, I have been invited to join gym sessions together with Boy and Dai Di during this holiday to improvise our physical prowess if we're to revamp our futsal club in January next year. I couldn't find a reason to decline his offer so I gladly agreed. We still don't know which gym in Kuantan is nice though, any recommendations? The fee isn't the problem, but the state of the equipments is.

The monsoon rain has stopped my DSLR from going outdoors. The Sun's refusing to shine and without it, I could not have proper lighting. Sigh, I hope there aren't any fungi growing inside the lenses.

Anyways, the other day I went to watch New Moon with Jaycee, Jasmine, Bernice and Bryan. And since Edward nor Jacob could offer us discounts like Roxy does, we were late for about 15 minutes. Bryan, I understand your pain XD

I admit I was not a total fanatic about the Twilight's Saga series but I am certain that I know enough of the details to prove that I've watched the film before. I haven't even watched the trailer of it before I actually watch the movie! So, I went in open-minded and not expecting any sorts of epic or romance scene except when the part Kristen Stewart sat in her room, gazing on the window for 3 effin months.

Overall the film was pretty okay but I gave it a thumbs up for the ending scene and the dialogues;

"Edward, will he kill me when I turn into a vampire? Read his mind.
...........
TSK!"

The very last moment of the film also sort of impressed me in a way. Because most films don't have such a cliffhanger scene even if there's supposed to be a sequel for the film. It might piss some ladies off cause Edward's proposed to Bella and so was I.

Enough spoilers already, eh?

Note: Sorrow strikes into the heart of most futsal players I've came across in my life as one of my colleague, Han Qiang tragically passed away during a futsal competition several weeks ago. He had a cardiac arrest just moments after entering the pitch. As he collapsed, his heart stopped beating and stayed that way.

I attended his funeral 2 weeks ago and though my parents insisted that I shouldn't. It is also my first funeral I've ever attended and like in the movies, just the air that surrounds you is saddening. The top of his casket was left open but I was afraid to look into it, I'm sorry.

It is now the last month of the last year. While some people tediously fend off fungus from growing on the top of heads in the amidst of the monsoon season, I am about to turn 18 soon. College and National Service looms just around the corner yet I have yet to enjoy everything that I have in possession right now. So much to do, so little time.

To pay respect to our beloved friend Han Qiang, we've decided to put futsal matches to a rest for about a month or so. And that includes me. Now that I have absolutely no reason to continue playing when I am not truly fully recovered yet, I will make the most of it. Still, this ankle of mine still hurts pretty bad when I walk for a certain length of time. It is hard to define where it hurts the most cause it hurts everywhere whenever I bend it a little. If these symptoms persists, I would have to consult another orthopaedic just across my parents' shop. Since I am allergic to most painkillers normal clinics have to offer, I'll just have to hope that somehow they'll offer me some sort of light behind all these agonies.

A tragic incident strikes into the very heart of fellow Kuantan teenagers this week. If you have read in the papers today, a 17-year old guy has just lost his life in a horrendous car wreck involving a motorcycle and an automobile. I cannot read Chinese so for further explanation you would have to refer to others or read the papers itself.

My sincerest condolences to all of his family and friends who has been there for him while he was in coma for a day before succumbing to the other world. I may not have known him very well, infact I don't even think he heard of my name before but as a fellow person to another, I'm feeling really bad myself. He is only just about my age, when times of fun thrives and joy of ending our high school adheres but unfortunately his time has come to a halt was quicker than his. Much quicker.

I held no rights of posting this about him nor the incident. If any of you who's reading this is against me, I will not oppose your decision and take this post down right away for I am only sharing my grief just like any other people who may have known him.

Some people's life around us are inevitably shorter than the other. You never know when the Grim Reaper would be knocking on your front door. Let us all appreciate the friends we have around us now, because it might be your last word for them.
